Translation by She'en Lirya

Editor's Note: The Temple of the Dragon is an obscure cult with some strange religious beliefs. This translation is for scholarly interest only. No attempt should be made to pursue these barbaric beliefs. --Lirya

It happened that long ago, the Dragons created the Heavens and the Earth. Their massive coils wrapped around rock and crushed them into diamonds which they set into the sky as stars, and the fiery breath of one set the sun into motion and fuel it, while the icy breath of the other created what is erroneously called Dargotten's Eye. The other moons were created in much the same way, and so the Earth had Light.

The Dragons then created a home for themselves, and that was the Dome of the Heavens. But the Material of the Dome was flawed, and a piece fell, and struck the Earth, creating the Telgard Sea. The Magic from the Dome followed, and the Earth came Alive, with Plants and Creatures who walked the land, swam the sea, and rode the air.

All the Races were created, but the same Flaw that cracked the Dome contaminated the Magic that created the Races, and they did not believe the Dragons were their Gods. Heretically, they enscribed Pagan beliefs about the False Gods Dargotten, and Brewesha, and Faeterna, and the Grey Lady, and the Wyrm, and the God of Magic whose name is never spoken by us, his name be Cursed.

The Dragons were displeased, and conferred with each other. They could see the future, and what they saw was not good. The Flaw that contaminated the Races would empower them to drive the Dragon Gods away. Thus, the Dragon Gods decided to spawn a Clutch, and the Clutch will hatch in its own time, bring about the Age of the Dragon, when the Dragon Gods will be remembered and the False Gods will be cast Down.

Then the Minions of He whose Name shall Not be Spoken cast out the Dragons. Curse them.

We who know the Truth search for the Clutch, to bring about the Dragon Age. The Clutch is embued with the powerful magic of the True Gods, and those who Find them shall be Raised to the Right Claws of the Dragons. The Shells of the Eggs shall give Eternal Life and Omnipotent Power when the Hatchlings have escaped their Ivory Prisons, and the Hatchlings shall be as Gods, for they will Hatch Full Grown and be the Equal of those who Spawned them, and they will Unite with their Parents in Holy War which will Contain the Races or Destroy them. We who Believe shall sit at their Right Claw.

Find the Clutch, My Children, so that the True Believers may Conquer their Enemies. Praise the Dragon Gods! Curses to the False Gods!

--High Priest of the Temple of the Dragon
