Adventure Skills:

These skills are generally used mostly during adventures, but also include skills of a sneakier nature. Each skill is associated with one of the four statistics, and the success of using the skill will depend on the stat associated with it as well as the level of skill.

For instance, Jayme has the skill Medicine which is associated with Intelligence. The higher his intelligence, plus the higher his level of skill, the better he will be at medicine.

Generally, this does not come into play unless one is comparing skill with another PC. For instance, Jayme meets up with Ribald. Both have Medicine at level 2, but Ribald has one less intelligence. Chances are, Jayme will be better at medicine.
