Career skills are generally those that help a PC earn a living. They rarely involve significant risk to the PC and the level of skill and the associated stat generally matter less than they do with the Adventure skills.

Like Adventure skills, each of these skills are associated with a stat. Almost all of them are associated with Intelligence, though there are some exceptions. Also like Adventure skills, the relevance of stats and skill levels apply mostly when one PC is competing in some fashion with another.
