The Kingdoms of Telgard: An out of character update
- by CD Steve

Well, everyone, I got quite a few enthusiastic comments with the first Kingdom wide Quest and am glad to see that so many people are interested.  The initial stages in Korresh and Mirg are progressing nicely, despite KM Xann's unfortunately being overwhelmed with work.  A few adventurous players have found their way to the goblin
village of Deeg, moderated by GM Blue, and they're finding lots of excitement there, I can see!  Dug-and-Stan, the oversized goblin who hears voices, is just one of the great
players there.  I hope to see more people show up in Deeg--I know GM Blue has a lot of surprises for you!

The lack of a KM in Lirynn has been troubling a number of you, I know, but in relation to the Quest, it hasn't adversely affected it.  GM Jonathan is pulling his weight quite well
and is relieving the constriction on the players in Lirynn, and we are in the process of putting the final approval in a recent moderator application to help take up the slack, which means one moderator in Silverdawn and one in Na'el, with both cooperating in the Wilderness.

CD Mac has got Garr moving wonderfully, with GM Vox moderating the new city of Dirgarr.  Our first issue of the Feature Creature is from one of the creatures CD Mac
developed in Garr.  KM Zed is busy developing Tahnn and especially the Misharr in between exams, and there are rumors of a lost Valley in Tahnn where adventurers might
get rich...or might meet dire circumstances.   Fortune favors the bold.

We are still accepting moderator applications.  You can find the link to the Moderator Application on the web page or click HERE if you are interested; you do not have to give up your characters if you decide to be a moderator, though of course your character can't be in the area you moderate.

GM Jonathon and CD Mac are collaborating to create some artwork featuring various races as well as some maps, and the first group of pictures is almost done.  The first set will be dwarves, male and female.   Anybody wishing to contribute original art may email a copy to CD Mac , who is our web designer, and full credit will be given for any paintings or drawings so submitted. Please be sure to sign your artwork.  We are seeking pictures of each of the races if possible, as well as various monsters. Please scan your paintings in .jpg format to avoid huge sizes.

Snog Gutterwump and his associates are investigating every nook and cranny of the IC
world of Telgard, and you can check out their current work in this issue of the Telgard.
They've done player interviews, plot summaries, newscasts...everything, and they keep coming up with more.  Any player wishing to participate in a player interview may email GM Blue; GM Blue can be contacted this way as well if they want to join the Snog reporting team.

Any further suggestions are always welcome, as well as any comments you might have.
If you have any ideas about where there's a problem in Telgard that I haven't noticed, or
if you merely want to suggest a color change or even map making software, feel free to
email myself (CD Steve) or CD Mac with any ideas you might have.

Thank you for making Telgard the success it is!

Tegn Social Calendar Announcement:
by The Rose - Proprietress of the Gilded Rose

That paragon of fashion, Lady Syrella Darshallon, is once again making a
move to get the key players of Tegn's social scene together for a night of dancing, music, romance and downright dirty plotting. Rumor has it that a certain disowned Shady cousin of hers is in on the party planning. They are planning to host a ball at that infamous house of depravity the Gilded Rose.  Elven maidens, goblin musicians and dangerous dancers have
been hired to keep the evening interesting. Costume is required and the theme is to be "Jewels of the Night." Nobles have already started lining up to commission new works from the Gem crafters Hall. Invitations have
gone out to ALL the major houses: Tegn, Darshallon, MacRae- even Dorrin and Laurel. Craft- and guild- masters as well as some off those stuffy University types will be in attendance. The Red Lady herself has,
according to my sources, commissioned a special costume for the occasion. One only wonders if her new Elf escort will be in tow (as if!)

You're Invited!
by Prince Grawl of Mirg

To all would-be travelers to our fair Goblin Kingdom:

Greetings to all, from Prince Grawl of Mirg, glorious Queen Ithyca's Third (and favorite) Husband. I find it sad that many humans, ss'tiss and other racial desirables think that Krull is only for goblins. Nonsense! We have
many far travelers here at the hub of gem and narcotics trading, and we know how to care for them.

Are you lonely? Don't be! Houses of welcoming abound, with happy beauties of
every stripe glad to assist you. Are you anxious or depressed? Stop! You need but inquire after our medicinal remedies for whatever ails you.
Are you tired of wondering where your next meal is coming from? Wonder no longer!
Opportunities for trade and advancement abound in our pristine mines and glorious, treasure filled jungles.

Let us, the goblins of many-spired Krull, welcome you as you ought to be welcomed, honored traveler. Do come and see me when you arrive.

~ His Green Highness Prince Grawl
Third Husband to Her Mirgian Majesty
